  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 sausages (Frankfurt type)
  • 1 cucumber (or sweet and sour pickles), chopped
  • 1 chopped celery
  • 1 apple (green)
  • York ham cubes (optional)
  • Mayonnaise (homemade or canned)
  • 6 tablespoons of liquid cream or natural yogurt
  • Salt

Tips: mayonnaise and light cream or low calorie cream can be used.

1. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into 4 or 6 parts.

2. Cook the potatoes in plenty of hot water. When they are tender, drain them and reserve them.

3. In a saucepan, cook the sausages in water for about 2 or 3 minutes.

4. Remove the sausages, drain them and when the sausages are cold, cut them into slices. Reserve.

5. Wash, peel and cut the apple into cubes. Reserve.

6. Peel the cucumbers and cut them into small cubes.

7. Chop a piece of celery, into thin slices.

8. In a bowl, mix the potatoes, sausages, apple, cucumbers, celery and everything you have added to the recipe.

9. When everything is mixed add the mayonnaise (previously mixed with the liquid cream). Stir and refrigerate until serving time.
