- Kitchen paper tubes
- Scotch tape
- Small nails
- Colored paper
- Pair of scissors
1- Glue, one by one, the paper tubes with the adhesive tape, so that they are well attached and firm.
2- Insert the nails through the tube at a distance of more or less about 20 centimeters, forming a cross between them inside, and stick them tightly with tape so that they do not come off. Subsequently, the caps for the ends of the tube must be cut out of the cardboard.
3- After closing one side of the tube with the cardboard lid, it is necessary to fill it with rice.
4. Once all the rice has been introduced, the other end of the tube must be covered with the cardboard, making sure before it is very well closed so that the rice does not come out.
5. As for the decoration, that already goes to the taste of each one. A good option can be with paper, colored fabrics or with paints. As a recommendation, it is a good idea to line the tube with a color and then glue pieces of paper or fabric in different colors. The more colors used, the more beautiful and original the rain stick will be.
6. The rain stick is here! Now it is good to test the water stick to see if, when moving it, you can hear its relaxing sound of water or rain.
